On senior night, it was the three Lady Blackhawk seniors that played their best in the victory.

Senior guard Brianna Metteba led all scorers with 17 points, and she also tied for the team lead with four assists.

Senior forward Ailina Rabang neared a triple-double with 16 points, 10 steals and nine rebounds. She also hit her first three 3-point attempts, and senior forward Laveena LaJuan had her best game of the season as she ended with 10 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

They were aided by the terrific play of junior guard Jemma James who added 14 points, nine steals, five rebounds and four assists.

Mills

63 straight wins, and counting. The Lions controlled the glass, as they outrebounded the Trojans 33-10.  Lynden also ripped off 20 steals and allowed just 21 field goal attempts in the dominating performance on the road.

Senior forward Payton Mills grabbed eight rebounds, with seven of them coming on the offensive end, and she also shot 6-for-10 from the field for 14 points.

Storgaard

Junior guard Finley Parcher had 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while junior guard Lexi Hermanutz had nine points and a team-high four steals.

Sophomore guard Izzie Stephan led the Lynden charge off the bench with eight points.

Meridian was led by the four points and four rebounds of junior forward Kaitlyn Storgaard. Junior forward Lola Gibbs also scored four points for the Trojans.

Robbins

The Cubs were on fire early, and hit 11-of-15 shots from the field in the first quarter, but that would be hard to sustain as the Strom crept back in the second quarter, took the lead in the third quarter and put the game away in the fourth on the road.

Junior guard Lexi Robbins connected on five 3-pointers and she finished with a team-high 21 points and four assists. She also grabbed four steals.

She was joined in double-digit scoring by junior guard Colee Harper who added 10 points.

Junior forward Addison Kettman scored just five points, but led Squalicum with 10 rebounds, eight steals and two blocked shots. She also dished out three assists.

Barge

The Mariner firepower proved to be too much for the Golden Eagles as Sehome led 27-8 at the midway break before taking the road win.

Sophomore guard Taylor Turrell led Sehome with 13 points and three steals on a perfect 5-for-5 night from the field.

Gilday

Senior center Aspen Barge had 10 points, four rebounds and two blocks, and senior forward Lily Jude added nine points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Ferndale junior guard Brooklyn Larrabee led all players with 14 points, and she also finished with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Sophomore forward Ari Gilday chipped in with 13 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

The Cougars collected 23 steals, and hit 11 3-pointers. That’s a touch combo to defeat, and the Pioneers were unable to do so as they fell on the road.

Senior center Grace DeHoog led Nooksack Valley with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting, as well as 16 rebounds.

Senior guards Natalie VanLiew and Payton Bartl each scored 10 points, while Bartl and senior guard Chayleigh Davis each had four assists and three steals.
