Bowler

The Lions made five 3-pointers in the first quarter, which enabled them to get out to a 22-11 lead, and it turned out that it was much needed as the Knights knocked down shots all afternoon and made it a one-score game at one point before Lynden pulled out the win at the end.

Senior guard Degitu Bowler came off the bench to his a trio of three-pointers in the first half, and a dagger deep ball in the final minute to help secure the win for her team. She finished with 15 points.

Junior guard Finley Parcher came up big in another big game as she led all scorers with 28 points on 12-of-18 shooting. She also led the team with eight rebounds and three steals.

Senior forward Payton Mills added 15 points and six rebounds for Lynden.

Robbins

The Mountaineers came back from a double-digit deficit in the final quarter, and were one possession away from knocking off the Storm at home, but Squalicum did what was needed to be done at the end to grab its 10th win of the season, and it’s seventh in a row.

Junior point guard Lexi Robbins scored 18 points and dished out five assists to lead the Storm offense. She also made four out of her seven 3-point attempts.

Soares

Junior guard Colee Harper added 10 points, while junior Addison Kettman and sophomore Kailana Perez each had three steals to lead the defense, and junior forward Tiana Thompson pulled down a team-high six rebounds.

Mount Baker was led by junior center Rebeca Soares who finished with 25 points, 16 rebounds and three blocked shots.

Senior forward Reace Brown added 10 points and seven boards, while junior guard Violet Fox added 10 assists, six points, six rebounds and six steals.

Rabang

The Lady Blackhawks found themselves down 35-22 going into the final quarter of play, on the road against the 3-time defending state champions. It was a tough mountain to climb, and Lummi Nation almost did it, but came up just four points short.

Eighth grade guard Jordan Reeder each finished with 13 points to lead the Blackhawks in scoring.

Senior forward Ailina Rabang had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and she also grabbed five steals, while Reeder knocked down three 3-pointers.

Junior guard Jemma James had 10 points, five rebounds and four steals, and senior guard Brianna Metteba added five assists, four points and four boards.
