Nooksack Valley 62, Oak Harbor 26

It was a “get right” game for the Pioneers when it was most needed, and they did just that by defeating the Wildcats at home.
Senior center Grace DeHoog couldn’t be stopped as she finished with 34 points, 23 rebounds, six steals, three blocks and two assists. The Eastern Washington signee also connected on 16-of-23 from the field in her dominating performance.
Senior guard Payton Bartl finished with nine points, seven assists and four steals, and senior guard Natalie VanLiew added eight points and three steals.

Ferndale 67, Mount Baker 44

The pressure defense of the Golden Eagles got the best of the Mountaineers as they were able to attempt 11 more shots, and also splashed home 12 shots from downtown before taking the road win over Mount Baker.
Senior guard Kayla Washington scored a game-high 24 points, and she buried four shots from behind the arc. Junior guard Brooklyn Larrabee also nailed four deep balls, and she finished with 18 points, eight assists and six steals.

Junior guard Kenzie Dawson added seven points, and sophomore forward had 11 rebounds and six steals.
The Mountaineers were led once again by junior center Rebeca Soares who scored 21 points, and was 9-of-11 from the foul line. She also tied her own school-record by grabbing 26 rebounds for the second game in a row, and she led her team with four assists and three steals.
Sophomore Rian Harkness and freshman Gabby Nutting each scored five points for Mount Baker.

Mount Vernon 59, Blaine 35

The Bulldogs came out firing from deep, and made five 3-pointers in the first quarter alone, which represented all of their points, but it was the 16-3 run in the second quarter that really helped their cause on the way to the road win.
Senior forward Aaliyah Bowman scored 12 of her team-high 14 points in the second half, which Blaine was only outscored by five points.
Junior guard Kate Koreski and freshman forward Hailey Kruse each scored seven points for the Borderites.
