Squalicum 56, Lakewood 42

A commanding first half by the Storm bled into the second half as Squalicum was able to survive an advance in the consolation round of the 2A district tournament by eliminating the Cougars.
Freshman center Avery Kettman was 6-of-11 from the field for a team-high 15 points to lead the Storm. She also grabbed seven rebounds.
Junior guard Lexi Robbins finished with 11 points, seven assists and four rebounds, and senior forward Jolie Paz added seven points and seven boards.
Junior forward Addison Kettman led Squalicum in rebounds with 10, as well as steals with five, and the Storm will next face Anacortes at 4:45 on Wednesday at Mount Vernon High School in an another elimination game.

Anacortes 55, Sehome 50

The Mariners took the first quarter, and the Seahawks responded well in the second quarter and held a two-point advantage at the half.
Sehome was able to cut the lead to one after three quarters, and a driving lay up by junior forward Kate Schroeder gave the Mariners a 47-45 lead with 1:22 left in the game. However, the Seahawks were able to close out strong and went on a 10-3 run in the final 65 seconds of the game to pull off the upset.
Schroeder finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and three steals, all of which were team-highs for Sehome.
Senior center Aspen Barge had eight points and four rebounds, and junior guard Sadie Gustafson added seven points and four assists.
The Mariner season came to a close with a record of 16-8.
