The Wolverines took advantage of numerous fielding miscues by the Mountaineers and scored 11 unearned runs in the bottom of the first inning. Mount Baker scored once in the top of the third and scored three more runs in the following inning, but errors allowed for seven more unearned runs by Friday Harbor. Senior Zaida Haynes went 2-for-2 at the plate with two runs batted in, a walk and a stolen base. Senior leadoff hitter Maddi Lewis walked and stole two bases, and freshman Rae Zamzow had a pinch-hit double in the fifth inning.
