The powerhouse Rough Riders scored in bunches on Saturday morning, and the Lions were unable to get on the board. Campbell DeJong tripled and Lynden was also able to get base hits from Lydia Somma and Charlotte Somma. Callie Ramerman struck out eight batters in over four innings of work.

The Lyncs scored first when Kortnee Tolsma walked with two outs in the top of the third, and quickly scored on an error in the field. The Rough Riders then tied it up in the bottom of the inning on a bunt single. The score remained tied for a few more innings, but Port Angeles was able to push across the eventual game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth on a single back up the middle. Junior pitcher Roxanne Lenning struck out eight batters in her six innings in the circle.

Lynden 10, Anacortes 2
Consistency was the key for the Lions in their second game of the day as they scored in every single inning to down the Seahawks. Callie Ramerman drove in three runs while holding Anacortes to just two runs on the day. She also hit two doubles and struck out 14 batters. Lynden rapped 12 hits in the game, and six of them went for extra bases. Lydia Somma had a team-high three hits, while Kyleigh McVie and Campbell DeJong each scored three runs and combined to steal seven bases.
