The Spartans scored at least two runs in each of the first five innings before the game was eventually called after the 10-run rule. The Golden Eagles got base hits from Hailey Pavitt, Hadley Pike, Amaya Chervenock and Hannah Swan. Pike and Swan each had a run batted in, and Ari Gilday also knocked in a run on a sacrifice fly.
