Sophomore Austin Postma secured the clean sheet in goal in the opener for the Lions. Lynden goals came from senior trio of Nate Castellon, Eddy Briseno and Hale Van Dyk.

 

Squalicum 10, Stanwood 0

The Storm started out the 2026 campaign in an incredibly strong way at home, as junior Maddox Strickland’s hat trick led the way.

Squalicum also received a pair of goals from senior Isaac Grimes. The other five Storm goals came from seniors Cody McCaulley, Jayden Bak and Kellen Savage, and sophomores Drew Swanson and Crew Johnson.

 

Ferndale 4, Anacortes 1

The Seahawks scored the first goal of the game less than halfway into the first half, but it was all Ferndale after that as the Golden Eagles received goals from seniors Evan Saxman, Andrew Richins and Sergio Perez as well as junior Ahanu Fasani.

 

Bellingham 3, Marysville-Getchell 0

After a scoreless first half, the Bayhawks found some momentum in the second half as they received goals from sophomores Nathaniel Wilson, Kai Ingram and Tyden O’Bryan.

The defense also limited the Chargers’ chances, and sophomore keeper Matthew Luxtrum picked up the clean sheet.

 

Sultan 3, Nooksack Valley 1

The lone goal for the Pioneers came when junior midfielder Christopher Moncada-Castillo’s shot ricocheted off a Turk defender in the box and into the net.

 

Sedro-Woolley 6, Lynden Christian 0

After a scoreless first half, the Cubs took it to the Lyncs in the second half by scoring six unanswered goals on the road.
