Blaine 71, Mount Baker 61

The Mountaineers managed to take 18 more shots than the Borderites, due to strong offensive rebounding, but Blaine was able to make a high percentage of its shots as they held on to win at home.
The Borderites held a double-digit lead for the vast majority of the game, and was even up 38-22 at the half, but Mount Baker made a strong comeback in the fourth quarter, and when senior guard Jordan Bailey knocked down his fifth long ball of the game with 1:02 left, it cut Blaine’s lead to 65-59. The Borderites, though, were able hit their free throws down the stretch and hang on for the victory.
Hitting most of those final minute foul shots was senior forward Landon Melton who finished with 19 points and three steals to lead his team.

Senior guard Daniel Banks had 14 points and seven rebounds, and junior guard Dawson Dohner added 13 points, while Milo Dahl and Peyton Bouma each came off the bench to combine for 21 points. Bouma also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
Bailey led the Mountaineers with 17 points and seven assists, and senior guard Payten Abitia finished with 15 points.
Junior center Kell Reardon added another double-double, this time with 10 points and 14 rebounds to go along with his six assists.

Lynden 79, Sedro-Woolley 71

A strong third quarter gave the Lions the lead, and they were able to hold down the high-flying Cubs just enough in the fourth quarter to hold on to the road win.
Senior forward Spencer Adams shook off any ill effects from an injured shooting shoulder as he landed four shots from beyond the arc and finished with a team-high 19 points. He also had five rebounds and five assists to round out his game.
Senior forward Ty Jorgenson also looked to be injury free, after playing limited minutes earlier in the week against Mount Vernon, he soared to 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting which included a breakaway two-handed dunk.
Sophomore guard Jayden Navarre added 16 points and six assists, while junior Gordy Bedlington finished with 12 points and senior Brody Price snagged a team-high 10 rebounds.
