Larsen

Sometimes, when you’re feeling it, you can’t miss. And, Trojan senior center Daniel Larsen was feeling it at home on senior night against the Golden Eagles.

Alright, so Larsen did miss one shot from the field, but he made his other 16 attempts, including a three-pointer which tied the game at 47-47 in the third quarter as Meridian came back from an early double-digit deficit to take the victory.

Larsen finished with a career-high 33 points as well as nine rebounds to lead the Trojans.

Singh

Junior guard Trey Alexander added 15 points and five assists, and junior guard Pierce Brzozowski added six assists and five rebounds.

Ferndale was led by senior forward Mantaj Singh who finished with 23 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists.

Sophomore forward Trey Munson came off the bench and knocked down all five of his shots for 10 points, and sophomore guard Tracen Pazaski added nine points.

Harward

The Bayhawks were down by three points going into the final quarter of play, but when senior forward Joe Harward hit a shot from underneath the hoop with 4:36 left in the game while being fouled, it was a monumental moment in the game, and his career. It cut the Storm lead to just one point at 51-50, and those two points put him into the 1,000 point club for his career.

Harward went on to hit the foul shot, which tied the game, and his team went on a 9-2 run from there on out to close out the victory at home.

Elston

Harward finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots, and junior guard Calvin VanHofwegen splashed home five 3-pointers to finish with 15 points.

Senior guard Myllo Wright added five assists, and senior center Barrett Johnson blocked four shots.

The Strom were led by junior guard Blake Elston who finished with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting.

Junior center Orion Granberg-Kiddle pulled down 14 rebounds to go with his seven points, and senior guard Rhys Knowlton scored 12 points.

Bauman

Terrific defense and balanced offense was what won out for the Pioneers on the road in their non-conference victory.

Nooksack Valley held the Tigers scoreless in the first quarter, and then went on to have four players reach double-digits in scoring.

Senior guard Jayden Anderson led in scoring with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, and 3-of-5 from deep.

Senior forward Crew Bauman finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals, while seniors Owen Wichers and Cole Coppinger each dropped in 11 points.

Dohner

The Cougars came out on fire, and led 19-4 after one quarter of play before defeating the Borderites at Blaine High School.

Lakewood forced 22 turnovers and made 12 three-pointers, the two staples of Cougar basketball.

The Borderites were led by junior guard Dawson Dohner who finished with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists. He also knocked down 3-of-5 from beyond the arc.

Junior center Gus Dickson had seven points, and junior forward Peyton Bouma grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
