Jorgenson

The Lions had won their last six straight games and the train continued rolling right into the Deming Dome at Mount Baker High School. They held a 13-point lead by the end of the first quarter and had pushed it out to a 23-point lead at the half. During the second half, the Lions held as big as a 39-point lead over the Mountaineers.

Ten players scored for the Lions with the 21 points of senior forward Spencer Adams leading the way. He also finished with 12 rebounds and four assists.

Abitia

Senior center Ty Jorgenson had 11 points and six boards, and senior guard James Ellis had nine points for Lynden.

Mount Baker had its strongest performance in the third quarter, scoring 13 points and keeping the quarter scoring difference within five.

The Mountaineers were led by senior guard Payten Abitia and freshman forward Trey Galbraith, who each contributed nine points.

Junior center Kell Reardon accounted for eight points, four rebounds and two steals.

Turrell

The Mariners led by two points after one quarter, but the Cubs took the lead in the second quarter, and went on to add to their lead in each of the following quarters before pulling out the home win.

Sehome senior center Cole Turrell led his team with 16 points and eight rebounds, and he was 6-of-10 from the field.

Senior forward Xavier Kelley had 15 points and six rebounds, and senior forward Carter Duckworth added 13 points and four rebounds.

Senior guard Quincy Tanovan drained a trio of three-pointers for nine points, and senior guard Nolan Wright had six rebounds and a team-high five assists.

Anderson

The Pioneers scored 20 points in the final four minutes of the game, but the Seahawks were able to match them shot-for-shot as Nooksack Valley couldn’t complete the comeback at home against 2A power Anacortes.

The 3-point shot kept the Pioneers alive late in the game, and senior guard Jayden Anderson connected on four of them as he finished with a team-high 19 points.

Senior forward Crew Bauman finished with 13 points, five rebounds and a team-high four assists, and senior guard Owen Wichers ended with nine points and eight rebounds.

Sophomore guard Tyler Martin came off the bench to spark his team with nine points, and junior forward Dane Ackerman grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
