Lummi Nation 77, Issaquah 66

The Blackhawks battled their second 4A opponent of the season, and the 1B team finished the afternoon 2-0 now against teams from the highest classification in the state.
Second-chance points was key for Lummi Nation as they grabbed 19 offensive rebounds, and senior center Chayce Waite-Kellar led with 12 offensive boards. He finished with 19 total rebounds to go with his 27 points on 12-of-17 shooting.
Junior guard Dyson Edwards sliced his way through the opposing defense for 21 points, while he and senior guard Jerome Toby each had four steals.
Toby also had a team-high six assists and he scored 15 points.

Oak Harbor 72, Blaine 52

The Borderites kept it relatively close through three quarters, but the Wildcats finished the game on a 17-8 run to steal the road win.
Senior forward Landon Melton led Blaine with 23 points on 8-of-19 shooting. He also made 5-of-6 from the foul line.
Junior center Gus Dickson battled early foul trouble, but still managed to power his way to 10 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots.
Junior guard Dawson Dohner led the Borderites with five assists, while junior forward Peyton Bouma and Melton each had three steals.

Mount Vernon 67, Bellingham 54

The Bayhawks got off to a slow start by missing their first seven field goal attempts, and finished with just four points after one quarter of play, however, steals and scores in the second quarter by senior forward Joe Harward got them back into the game, and the Bulldogs led 30-23 at the midway break.
Bellingham continued to play well in the third quarter, but every time a big shot was made, Mount Vernon was right there to answer it on the next possession. The Bulldogs ended up scoring 23 points in the third quarter and held on for the home win.
Harward had one of his most efficient games as he finished with 25 points on 8-of-15 from the field, and 9-of-12 from the foul line. He also led the Bayhawks with five steals.
Sophomore guard Emmett VanHouten made four of his eight attempts from three-point land, and he finished with 15 points.
Senior center Barrett Johnson led Bellingham with six rebounds and senior guard Myllo Wright had a team-high three assists.
