Adams

It was a good start for the Mariners who held a slight advantage during most of the first quarter and had a 12-9 lead at the end of quarter. However, the Lions started to find their groove in the second quarter and outscored Sehome 16-9 to take the halftime lead.

Seven different players scored for the Lions as they continued to outscore the Mariners through the second half of the game. Lynden senior Spencer Adams scored 14 of his team-leading 18 points during the second half to help his team secure the conference win at home.

Duckworth

Alongside Adams, sophomore Jayden Navarre accounted for 10 of Lynden’s points and junior Malachi Koenen contributed nine points. Both players splashed home three 3-pointers each.

For Sehome, senior forward Xavier Kelley led his team with 10 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two blocks. Senior Nolan Wright added nine points to the team total, and senior forward Carter Duckworth came off the bench to score eight points and grab eight boards.

Pazaski

The Golden Eagles scored more than of their total points in the fourth quarter alone, but it wasn’t enough as Ferndale fell at home to the Cubs.

Sophomore guard Tracen Pazaski connected on five 3-pointers to finish with 15 points, and senior forward Mantaj Singh also totaled 15 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Sophomore guard Houston Wills added 11 points, six rebounds and four assists, and senior guard Cooper Vincent had six points and seven boards.
