Waite-Kellar

It was up and down, run an gun, early and often for both teams in front of a packed house at Lummi Nation, with both teams trading leads throughout the first three quarters.

The Blackhawks held a two-point lead going into the final period, and that was when seniors Jerome Toby and Chayce Waite-Kellar elevated their games as they commanded their team to the victory to clinch the league championship.

Toby finished with a game-high 27 points to go with his five points and five rebounds, and Waite-Kellar muscled his way inside to 25 points, 24 rebounds and two blocked shots.

They also combined to go 12-of-14 from the foul line.

Junior guard Dyson Edwards added 12 points and a team-high three steals for the Blackhawks.

Adams

The Lions found themselves down 30-23 at the half, but they came out on fire in the third quarter and ripped off 21 points to capture the lead. They extended it in the fourth quarter and came away with the huge conference win at home.

Senior forward Spencer Adams had another big game, this time with 23 points and nine rebounds. He also made all eight of his attempts inside the three-point line.

Junior guard Gordy Bedlington had 10 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals, and junior guard Malachi Koenen finished with 10 points, three rebounds and two blocked shots.

Senior center Ty Jorgenson added seven points and seven boards, four of which came on the offensive glass.

Robertson

The Lyncs led by just three points after one quarter, but poured it on in the second quarter before grabbing a 39-22 lead at the midway break. Lynden Christian continued its balanced scoring attack to take the road win.

Senior forward Boyce Robertson hustled his way to a game-high 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting. He also finished with eight rebounds and a team-high five steals.

Junior forward Kaden Veldman had 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, and junior guard Gunnar Dykstra added 16 points, four assists, and four splashes from deep.

Junior guard Dawson Hintz neared a triple-double as well with 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. He also added three steals and a soaring one-handed dunk.
