Junior guard Hunter Calloway also captured a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and junior guard Blake Elston finished with 11 points, four assists and four steals.

Burlington-Edison 62, Sehome 60

The Mariners were off to a 7-0 lead after just two minutes of play, which prompted a Tiger timeout, and Burlington-Edison then went on a 17-8 run for the rest of the period.
The Tigers were up 36-28 at the half, and began the second half with an 11-0 run, which gave them a 19-point lead.
Sehome started to come back, thanks to the clutch shooting of senior forward Xavier Kelley who outscored Burlington-Edison’s entire team 17-8 over the next six minutes of game-time.
The Mariners were able to get it to a one-score game, and senior guard Klay Jackson nailed a three-pointer from the right wing to tie the game at 60-60 with 40 seconds left in the game.
The Tigers knew they couldn’t hold for the final shot, due to the 30-second shot clock, but they used as much time as they could, and their desperation three-point shot was blocked by Kelley, and it looked like the fast break was on to score the go-ahead bucket, but a shot-clock violation was called. It gave possession to Sehome with eight seconds left to play.
A Mariner mis-dribble led to a steal and score at the buzzer by Burlington-Edison, and the Sehome season came to a close in the 2A district tournament with a record of 15-8.
Kelley finished with 32 points on 12-of-17 shooting. He also led the Mariners with nine rebounds and four blocked shots.
Senior guard Nolan Wright added nine points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals.
