McDonald

The Lions finished the regular season with a perfect record, and put the stamp on it after putting away the Cougars at home 25-9, 25-11 and 25-6.

Lynden jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first set when sophomore Izzie Stephan was on a heater at the service line. She finished with a team-high eight aces on the night to go with her 29 assists.

Junior Finley Parcher had 10 kills at the net, and senior Rian Stephan added eight kills and three blocks.

Senior Campbell DeJong finished with 14 digs, and sophomore Brooke McDonald had five kills and two blocks.

 

LYNDEN CHRISTIAN 3, SEDRO-WOOLLEY 0

Fritts

The Lyncs were pushed early on the road against the Cubs, but were able to settle in and pick up the sweep, 26-24, 25-20 and 25-10.

Senior Ella Fritts did a little bit of everything as her 43 assists, six kills, six aces, five digs and 1.5 blocks helped lead Lynden Christian to victory.

Junior Jocelyn Eshuis rose high above the net to total 13 kills and 3.5 blocks, both of which led her team, and sophomore Sadie Meyer chipped in with nine kills.

Junior Lyla Parriera had a team-high eight digs and senior Alli Wright finished with four kills and 2.5 blocks.

 

ANACORTES 3, MOUNT BAKER 0

Bruland

The Mountaineers got better each set on the road against the Seahawks, but just couldn’t get over the hump as Anacortes won in straight sets 25-15, 25-16 and 25-22.

Senior Reace Brown led the offense with six kills, and senior Kylee Bruland had eight digs to lead the defense.

Senior Maddi Lewis finished with 13 assists and six digs, while junior Rebeca Soares had three kills and three blocks and sophomore Laila Porter added seven digs.
