SEHOME 3, NOOKSACK VALLEY 1

In a battle of two teams with state tournament aspirations, the Mariners edged out the Pioneers 25-21 and 25-22 in the first two sets. Nooksack rallied the Valley to come back and win the third set 28-26, but Sehome closed the door with a 25-17 win in the fourth set.
Mariner senior Anya Winter was extremely efficient with 13 kills, four aces and 1.5 blocks, while senior Makenna Andrews flew around the backcourt to total 23 digs.

Senior Hayden Niewiadomski returned to the court and captured a double-double with 13 kills and 12 digs, while junior Paige Flory did the same with 14 kills and 10 digs. Sophomore Taylor Turrell added 31 assists.
Pioneer senior Grace DeHoog hammered home 12 kills, while also leading her team with six aces, and junior Elizabeth DeLange also finished with 12 kills.
Junior Payton Bartl had 33 assists, senior Avery Juergens had 10 digs and senior Gracie Rutgers added nine kills and eight digs.
LYNDEN 3, LYNDEN CHRISTIAN 0

It wasn’t easy, but the Lions remained undefeated on the season as they trekked less than mile across town and topped the Lyncs 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20.
Junior Finley Parcher continued her dominance at the net with 14 kills, while Lynden totaled 10 aces as a team, with junior Lexi Hermanutz leading the way with four.

Serving specialist Hadley Lamp added two aces, as the Lions also received a pair of aces from senior Campbell DeJong and sophomore Izzie Stephan, who also posted 23 assists and three blocks.
Lynden Christian was led by junior Jocelyn Eshuis who finished with team-highs in kills (11) and blocks (3.5).
Senior Ella Fritts added 32 assists, 6 digs, two blocks and two kills, and junior Lyla Parriera had 13 digs and two aces.
MERIDIAN 3, SQUALICUM 0

The Trojans put together a complete game as they defeated the visiting Storm 25-13, 25-11 and 25-12.
Sophomore Melanie Short was a major point-getter with 14 kills and six aces.
Senior Gracie Pap added five kills with a .625 hitting percentage, while junior Eden Bernardy finished with eight kills.

Senior Kinsley Neal added four aces and seven digs, while senior Chloe Bressler had 26 assists and 11 digs and senior Taya Benson finished with six kills and a block.
Squalicum was led by senior Jolie Paz who finished with seven kills and nine digs, both of which led her team.
Junior Alyssa Roselli added 10 assists and junior Tiana Thompson finished with four blocks.
