Gesmundo

After dropping the first set 25-21, the Mountaineers rebounded to take the next three sets at home 25-13, 25-21 and 25-13.

Not only was it the first win of the season for the rapidly improving Mounties, but it was their first win since October 4, 2022.

Junior Rebeca Soares led the offensive attack with 12 kills on a .458 hitting percentage, while senior Kaia Gesmundo added nine kills and a team-high 12 digs.

Senior Maddi Lewis distributed a career-high 28 assists to go with her nine digs, five kills and three aces. Junior Emma Richardson led Mount Baker with five aces and senior Kylee Bruland finished with 11 digs.
