NOOKSACK VALLEY 3, BLAINE 1

The Pioneers took the first two sets 25-22 and 25-14, but the Borderites came back in the third set to win 25-22. Blaine also rallied late in the fourth set, but couldn’t complete the comeback as Nooksack Valley won 25-23.
Senior setter Payton Bartl dished out 40 assists, and the main recipients were senior Grace DeHoog and junior Elizabeth DeLange. DeHoog led the Pioneers with 19 kills, and DeLange finished with 14 kills and a .370 hitting percentage.

Senior Avery Juergens led with 12 digs, while senior Gracie Rutgers served up six aces to go with her eight kills and senior Annie Stremler added five kills and six digs.
The Borderites were led by 5-foot-9 junior Teia Dube who’s 20 kills registered more than half of her team’s totals. She also led with 17 digs and four aces.
Senior Ari Johnson also had a double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs, while senior Ainslee Ellis had 29 assists and nine digs.
Senior libero Hannah Phelps-McDonald dug out 14 and senior Paige Dominick added 12 digs.
FERNDALE 3, BELLINGHAM 0

The Golden Eagles went on the road and won in straight sets, but the Bayhawks made sure it wasn’t easy as Ferndale won 25-21, 26-24 and 25-22.
Senior Katrina Ferry‘s well-rounded game led to her posting 19 and six aces, both of which led the Golden Eagles, while junior Brooklyn Larrabee finished with 26 assists, five kills and six digs.

Senior Caitlyn Berg continued her hot serving streak with five aces, and Ferndale also got seven kills a piece from juniors Sienna Brionez, Svetlana Baydak and sophomore Adelle Overson.
Bellingham was led by senior Mary Lockhart who was all over the court with six kills, six digs, four aces and three blocks.
Senior Jayda Knutsen and sophomore Sonoma Smith each added five kills, five digs and three aces.
LYNDEN 3, SEDRO-WOOLLEY 0

The Lions went on the road and took care of business against the Cubs, as they won in straight sets 25-10, 25-15 and 25-9.
Junior Finley Parcher had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs, while junior Sarah McVie served up a team-high four aces to go with her four kills and two blocks.
Senior Campbell DeJong led Lynden with 13 digs, and junior Lexi Hermanutz added 12 digs and five kills. Sophomore Izzie Stephan had 26 assists and six digs, and senior Rian Stephan finished with seven kills and four digs.
MERIDIAN 3, KING’S 1

In a see-saw match up, the Trojans held strong at home. After defeating the Knights 25-13 in the first set, King’s rallied to win the second set 29-27. Meridian had a strong showing and won set number three 25-15 before taking the fourth and final set 28-26.
Sophomore Melanie Short and junior Eden Bernardy each finished with a double-double, as Short tallied 15 kills and 11 digs and Bernardy ended with 14 kills and 11 digs.
Short also had seven aces, as the Trojans served up 24 aces as a team. Bernardy and senior Kinsley Neal each had five aces.
Senior Chloe Bressler had 33 assists, six digs and four aces, while senior Taya Benson finished with seven kills and senior Gracie Pap added five kills.
