LYNDEN CHRISTIAN 3, FERNDALE 1

The Golden Eagles won the first set, 25-19, but the Lyncs stood tall in the second set and won 25-23 before taking the next two sets 25-17 and 25-18 at home as Ferndale lost its first conference match of the season.
Senior Ella Fritts had an even distribution as her 39 assists led to three different players posting at least nine kills each. She also totaled four kills herself, along with 14 digs and two blocks.

Senior libero Lyla Parriera added a team high 16 digs and three aces, while sophomore Sadie Meyer led LC with 10 kills.
Senior Alli Wright and junior Jocelyn Eshuis combined for 18 kills and six blocks.
The Golden Eagles were led by junior Brooklyn Larrabee who finished with 31 assists, 15 digs, five kills and four aces, and she was joined by junior Sarvir Bhachu who enjoyed her best varsity game with 12 kills and four digs.
Senior Katrina Ferry added 20 digs, while junior Svetlana Baydak finished with 22 digs and five kills and sophomore Adelle Overson had nine kills and three blocks.
SQUALICUM 3, LAKEWOOD 0

The Storm were locked in at home as they defeated the Cougars in straight sets, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-18.
Senior Archer Burns led Squalicum with five aces, and in blocks with four, while fellow senior Jolie Paz totaled 11 kills and nine digs.
Junior Bronwyn Jones finished with 13 digs and three aces, and junior Penelope Durias looked to be fully recovered from an early season injury as she posted seven kills and three digs.
Senior Gwen Foy added nine digs, and junior Alyssa Roselli dished out 24 assists to go with eight digs and two aces.
MERIDIAN 3, OAK HARBOR 0

The Trojans also took care of business at home by defeating the 3A Wildcats 25-22, 25-16 and 25-17.
Junior Eden Bernardy dug out a team-high 15, while sophomore Melanie Short added 15 kills and eight digs.
Joining Short with eight digs was senior Kinsley Neal, and senior Gracie Pap finished with eight kills. Junior Amelia Koning led with four aces, while senior Chloe Bressler had 27 assists and senior Taya Benson added five kills, three aces and two blocks.
