Senior Meg Clarke and junior Kyleigh McVie each scored a pair of goals to lead the Lions past the Cougars at home in their first conference game of the season.
Lynden also got goals from juniors Mariah VanderMey and Blair Dowdy, as well as sophomore Avery Francis.

Bellingham 2, Nooksack Valley 0
The Bayhawks now have two clean sheets in two games as they defeated the Pioneers on the road. Junior Sophia Dionne scored the first goal of the game (and her second of the season) to get Bellingham on the board, and it was followed up six minutes later by a goal from sophomore Morgan DuPre.

Ferndale 2, Squalicum 2
Storm sophomore Addi Wilson scored a goal late in the game to secure the tie on the road against the Golden Eagles. It was her Whatcom County-leading fourth goal of the season.
Ferndale received goals from senior Kayla Washington and sophomore Tehgan Ambrose. Squalicum’s first goal of the game was a header from junior Arya Sabado off a corner kick.

Sehome 8, Meridian 0
The Mariners racked up three goals in the first nine minutes before leading 6-0 at the half, and eventually taking the home win over the Trojans.
Junior Alexis Maldonado scored two goals, while Sehome also got goals from senior Ryan Boehm, juniors Kylie Ivcevic and Ayla Woodworth, sophomores Maya Jorgsenson and Briley Valliant as well as freshman Piper Johnston. Valliant also had a pair of assists in the contest.

Sedro-Woolley 2, Lynden Christian 1
The Lyncs were in control for most of the game, and took a late 1-0 lead when senior Estela Segel scored on an assist from Baylee Bouma, but the Cubs completely flipped the script in the final 10 minutes of the game by scoring twice and taking the home win.
Lynden Christian put up 17 shots in the contest to Sedro-Woolley’s six.

Oak Harbor 9, Blaine 0
The Borderites struggled in their opener at home, and found themselves behind 5-0 after one half against the quicker Wildcats, before falling 9-0.
