Ferndale 5, Meadowdale 2
The Golden Eagles staved off elimination by picking up the win at home against the Mavericks.
Freshman Mia Collins set the tone just 20 seconds into the contest when she scored the opening goal of the game.
Ferndale also got goals from sophomore Liv Luna, freshman Hannah Huynh, senior Hannah Waslohn and junior Kasey O’Neill.
The Golden Eagles will now face Oak Harbor at 5:00 on Thursday at Shorelines Stadium in a winner-to-state/loser-out contest.
