  • Lynden 2, Bellingham 1

After a scoreless first half, the Lions kicked off the second half with two relatively quick goals. The first came from junior Mariah VanderMey, and the second was from senior Blaine Holman. Both players now have four goals on the season each, which ties them with junior Kyleigh McVie for the team lead.

The Bayhawks received a goal from Averie Riddell, her third of the season.

  • Lynden Christian 4, Nooksack Valley 0

The Lyncs won their third straight game, this time by shutting out the Pioneers on the road.

Junior Nayla Speer scored two goals and had an assist, while sophomore Kaelyn Hinton scored one goal and had two assists in the victory. Lynden Christian also got a goal from senior Kayla Yun.

  • Sehome 7, Lakewood 0

The Mariners continued to roll, and have not allowed a single goal in conference play as freshman Piper Johnston scored twice to lead Sehome to victory.

Junior Vivian Moss opened the scoring just three minutes in on a cross from senior Ryan Boehm. Boehm then found junior Ayla Woodworth for a goal, and then took matters into her own hands (or feet) as she scored the third goal of the game unassisted. It was Boehm’s 11th goal of the season.

Johnston’s first goal came on an assist from senior Keira Reeves, and Boehm had her third assist of the game when she found junior Amaia Reid for a goal.

The final goal was scored by sophomore Kaila Reeves.

  • Anacortes 5, Squalicum 1

In a battle of strong 2A teams within the Northwest Conference, it was the Seahawks who came out on top at home.

The Storm’s lone goal came from freshman Ryla Sabado, her second of the season.

  • Burlington-Edison 7, Mount Baker 1

The Mountaineers received a goal from freshman Kaylee Hulford, her fifth of the season, but it wouldn’t be enough on the road against the Tigers.

  • Mount Vernon 3, Meridian 0

The Trojans coudn’t get on track on the road against the Bulldogs as they dropped their sixth match of the season.

  • Sedro-Woolley 2, Blaine 0

The Cubs scored twice, both on penalty kicks, as the Borderites were shut out at home against their 3A opponent.
