Squalicum 2, Bellingham 1
It was a crosstown thriller on Halloween Eve as Bayhawk senior Beckett Ferry scored late in the first half to give her team an early lead.
The score remained 1-0 for the vast majority of the second half until the Storm was awarded with a free kick just outside of the box with three minutes left in regulation. Sophomore Addi Wilson was able to capitalize on it with a goal, which would eventually send the game to penalty kicks.
Squalicum won the penalty kicks 4-3 when sophomore goal keeper Kailana Perez made a save on Bellingham’s final attempt, which secured the win.
The Storm will now face Anacortes on Saturday at Civic Stadium at 11:00 AM, and the Bayhawks will try to keep their season alive on Saturday when they take on Burlington-Edison at 1:00 at Civic Stadium.

Junior Vivian Moss also scored a goal in the first half, and junior Kate Schroeder scored the final goal of the game in the second half.
The Mariners will be back in action on Saturday when they take on Archbishop Murphy at 3:00 at Civic Stadium.
