  • Bellingham 1, Archbishop Murphy 0

The Bayhawks may have been ranked lower than the Wildcats, but Bellingham has a history of making magic happen in the consolation round of the district tournament.

Senior Beckett Ferry has come on strong during the second half of the season for Bellingham, and she scored in the first half of the game against Archbishop Murphy, and let the defense take care of business in the second half.

The Bayhawks advanced to the next round, and will now face Lynden at 5:00 on Wednesday at Civic Stadium in another loser out contest.

  • Lynden 1, Squalicum 0 (PK’s)

After a scoreless tie in regulation, and the two overtime periods, the Lions escaped elimination by connecting on all five penalty kicks, and allowing just four.

It was the second contest in a row for the Storm to lose on penalty kicks as their season came to a close.

Lynden will face Bellingham at 5:00 on Wednesday at Civic Stadium in another loser out contest.
