Squalicum 44, Meridian 22

The Storm set the defensive tone early on, and shut the Trojans out in the first quarter. Squalicum then went on to grab 21 steals on its way to doubling up Meridian at home.
Junior point guard Lexi Robbins led the Storm with 17 points and five assists, and she also hit 3-of-4 from behind the three-point line.

Junior forwards Addison Kettman and Colee Harper led the defensive charge as Kettman had a team-high seven steals and Harper was right behind with six thefts.
Harper also added 10 points, and freshman Avery Kettman and senior Jolie Paz each grabbed five rebounds.
The Trojans were led in scoring by junior forward Kaitlyn Storgaard who finished with six points.

Nooksack Valley 64, Mount Vernon 62

The recent floods in the area canceled multiple games, and even practices for the Pioneers, but after being down virtually the entire game, they came together at the end to find a way to pull out the win in just their second game of the season.
The Bulldogs led 35-26 at the half, but Nooksack Valley scored 23 points in the third quarter, 13 of them came from senior center Grace DeHoog, and the Pioneers also got a pair of three-pointers from freshman Mikaela Swaffield in the quarter to help them get within four points of Mount Vernon.
Nooksack Valley held the Bulldogs to just nine points in the final period, as senior guards Chayleigh Davis and Payton Bartl each hid big buckets, including a deep ball from each, and the Pioneers were able to take the lead in the final minute and secure the win.
DeHoog finished with 26 points, 20 rebounds and three blocks, and Bartl ended her night with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field.

Sehome 44, Mount Baker 33

The Mariners scored a few points more than the Mountaineers in each quarter to ultimately pick up the double-digit win on the road.
The Sehome defense ripped off 19 steals and blocked five shots, which provided more opportunities on offense for the visitors. The main recipient was sophomore guard Taylor Turrell who hit 10-of-18 shots from the floor and finished with a game-high 23 points.

Senior center Aspen Barge scored eight points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked four shots, and junior forward Kate Schroeder added eight points, five boards and three steals.
Mount Baker senior forward Reace Brown led her team with nine points, as the Mariner defense held Rebeca Soares to just six points. The junior forward found other ways to contribute as she had 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Sophomore guard Kalyn Abitia knocked down two of her four shots from beyond the arc for six points.

Even without superstar junior guard Jemma James, the Blackhawks took care of business at home against the Chargers.
Senior forward Ailina Rabang notched a triple-double with 15 points, 12 assists and 12 steals, while eighth grader Jordan Reeder scored a game-high 18 points and nabbed 11 steals.
Lummi Nation picked off an incredible 40 steals on the night, which led to numerous easy buckets.
Senior guard Brianna Metteba added 16 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals, and junior center Celestine James finished with eight points, six steals and four rebounds.
