Fritts

The Lyncs struggled in the first half to get anything going, and even went 10 straight minutes of gametime, which stretched into the second half, without hitting a field goal. However, they never stopped fighting and were able to pull out the home victory when the final buzzer sounded.

An inbound play from senior guard Estela Hernandez to junior forward Jocelyn Eshuis with 6:38 left in the game gave Lynden Christian the lead for the first since early in the first quarter when LC led 2-0. This time, the Lyncs wouldn’t give it up.

Senior guard Ella Fritts led the way with 15 points and six rebounds, and freshman forward Jess DeJong came off the bench to hit 4-of-7 from the floor for 11 points.

Eshuis led LC with eight rebounds, while Hernandez and junior guard Ellie Pierce each handed out three assists.
