Bellingham 32, Blaine 24

It was a relatively close game throughout, but the biggest difference was that the Bayhawks were able to finish at the rim and knock down a higher percentage of their foul shots as Bellingham nabbed the road victory.
Also, when it came down to finishing at the rim and hitting free throws, Bellingham’s Merritt Jensen was all about it. The junior forward was incredibly hard to stop at the hoop as she made seven of her 12 attempts within five feet from the basket, and also knocked down 5-of-6 from the foul line to finish with a game-high 19 points.

Sophomore guard Elise Holland had five points, seven rebounds, four steals and two blocks, while senior forward Mary Lockhart pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
Blaine junior guard Kate Koreski led her team with 11 points. She also had five rebounds, four steals and hit the only three-pointer of the game.
Senior forward Aaliyah Bowman added seven points and seven boards, and senior forward Bea Dickson led all players with 12 rebounds.
