The Lions ripped off five runs in the top of the first, including a three-run blast by Rebecca Powell, which gave Lynden the early momentum. The Red Wolves scored in the bottom of the second, but that would be their only run as Lynden added four more in the final inning before picking up the road win. Callie Ramerman continued to be on her game as she allowed just two hits while striking out nine. Melanie Anderson and Kasey DeJong each had a pair of hits, while Anderson, Kaiah Tull and Campbell DeJong each scored twice.
