The Mountaineers took advantage of seven Blaine errors as they poured it on the Borderites on the road. Mount Baker batted around in the second and fourth inning, and was led offensively by Gracie Zender and Kara Welters who each doubled and drove in three runs. Cadence Cloninger scored four runs, and Annalee Cohn scored three runs. Welters picked up her 10th win of the season. Shaylie Daniels homered for Blaine, and Mesa Puls singled and doubled.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 4-0 lead early, and led 5-2 going into the bottom of the third when the Lyncs rattled off six runs to take the lead, which was highlighted by 2-run single off the bat of Kassidy VanSoest. She also went on to pitch all seven innings and struck out eight batters. Alivia Brink went 3-for-4 with four runs batted in and Taylor Craig was 3-for 4 with two runs batted in as Lynden Christian won its sixth game in a row.

The Trojans struck first when Sydney TenKley drove home Dakota Hill, but the Pioneers answered with two runs in the bottom of the second and a 10-spot in the bottom of the fourth inning. Payton Bartl drove in four runs, scored twice, and picked up the win in the circle. Alayna Vanieperen closed the game out, and struck out three batters while also hitting two doubles. Alyxis Larson led Nooksack Valley with three hits and two stolen bases while Kenzie Likkel and Grace DeHoog each scored twice. TenKley went 3-for-3 for Meridian and drove in all three of her team’s runs.

The Mariners led 3-0 going into the bottom of the second inning, but it was Seahawks after that. Sarah Kruzich led Sehome with two hits, a run batted in and a run scored. She also struck out two batters and gave up just three earned runs. Vanessa Anderson also got a hit for the Mariners.

The Storm scored in each of the first four innings, but it wouldn’t be enough at home against the Cubs. Sophomore catcher Addy Hauber singled, doubled, stole a base, drove in a run and scored two runs to lead the Squalicum offense. Gabi Gearhart and Keisha McCloud combined to strike out five batters.
