The Bulldogs led 1-0 after four innings, but the Lyncs scored in the top of the fifth when centerfielder Alivia Brink led off with a double, and eventually came around to score on an error. The game remained tied at 1-1 through the bottom of the seventh, and was forced into an eighth inning. Back-to-back singles by Brink and Hannah Terpstra drove in a total of four runs, which highlighted a five-run inning. Mount Vernon managed to score three of its own in the bottom of the inning, but that would be it as Lynden Christian ended its regular season on a 10-game winning streak.
