Mount Baker's Kara Welters got the win in the circle while also hitting a homerun against Burlington-Edison.

The Mountaineers got a huge win on the road as they scored three runs in each of the first two innings to grad a 6-3 lead, and a solo homerun off the bat of sophomore Kara Welters in the top of the fourth inning gave Mount Baker the momentum to carryout the victory. Batting in front of Welters was senior catcher Gracie Zender who walked three times and scored three times. Annalee Cohn also had a pair of hits and scored three times for the Mounties, while Welters, Zaida Haynes and Kennedy Rathjen each drove in a pair of runs.

The Lion offense went off for five runs in the top of the first inning, and from there it was all Callie Ramerman as the sophomore pitcher struck out 14 batters to grab her 10th win of the season. Campbell DeJong and Emily McVie each doubled twice as Lynden pounded out seven doubles on the evening. Ramerman also drove in three runs, while DeJong and Melanie Anderson each scored a pair of runs.
