BELLINGHAM – It was a Whatcom County sweep in singles competition with Sehome senior Harley Kaiser taking first place, after finishing in second last season. Leo Kuhn of Bellingham finished in second place, and both will participate in the state tournament which is held in May.
Justin Barras of Sehome took third place, and will be an alternate at state, and Squalicum’s Ethan Oscarson took fourth place.
In doubles competition the duo of Colton Hong and Adam VanEgdom of Anacortes took home the district championship.
Christian Leon and Sean Lane of Sehome took second place for the second year in a row, and will also head to state in May, while Hudson Baker and Matt Benson of Burlington-Edison will be alternates at state as they took third place as a team.
