Sehome 2, Squalicum 1

In front of a packed crowd, the Mariners were able to score first when Blake Moore found Liam Schumacher for a short range goal. It appeared that the Storm was going to have the first goal of the game earlier in the contest when the ball was lifted over Sehome goalie Bane Mitchell who was out from under goal, but the 6-foot-3 sophomore sprinted back, dove towards the goal and was able to keep the ball from entering. Squalicum eventually answered in the second half on a goal from Sebastian Cruz who received a pass from Drew Swanson who set him up perfectly for the score. The game-winning score came in the final two minutes when a free kick off the foot of Julian Herring neared the goal and was quickly headed in by Slater Hawk.

Meridian 3, Anacortes 2

After an even 15 minutes to begin the game, the Trojans were able to break through and score on a header from Dakota Ng halfway through the first half. The Seahawks answered quickly, but Meridian was able to get back on the board late in the first half when Adrian Meza used his head to redirect a shot into the box, and scored to give the Trojans a 2-1 advantage. Anacortes started strong in the second half, and was able to score on a deep free kick. The third header was a charm for the Trojans as a cross into the box was put in by Omar Abdo. Meridian then sat back and held the advantage until the final whistle.
