The 4A Mustangs proved to be too much for the Golden Eagles, as Redmond picked up the road victory.

Senior forward Mantaj Singh led Ferndale with 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field, and sophomore guard Houston Wills added seven points.

Sophomore guard Tracen Pazaski led the Golden Eagles with seven rebounds and five assists in his varsity debut, and junior guard Blake Singson came off the bench and knocked down two of his three attempts from beyond the arc.

The Eagles led 46-37 going into the final quarter, but the Pioneers outscored Cedar Park Christian 16-3 over the final eight minutes to pull off the victory on the road.

Nooksack Valley guard Jayden Anderson knocked down key free throws in the final minutes of play, and finished with 12 points.

Senior Owen Wichers led the Pioneers with 13 points, and junior forward Dane Ackerman added eight points. Senior guard Crew Bauman led the team in rebounds (6), assists (5) and steals (3).

It was the second day in a row that the Grizzlies defeated a Whatcom County opponent on the road, this time it was against the Borderites who were unable to find their range as they connected on just 4-of-29 from downtown.

Junior forward Gus Dickson led Blaine with 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting, and he also pulled down seven rebounds.

Seniors Daniel Banks and Landon Melton each finished with eight points and seven rebounds, and 6-foot-8 sophomore center Christopher Dickson blocked three shots in his varsity debut.
