The Chargers ripped off more points in the final quarter than they did in the first three quarters combined, but it still wasn’t enough as the Storm picked up their second win in as many games to begin the season.
Junior guard Blake Elston led Squalicum with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor, to go with his nine rebounds and three assists.
Junior center Orion Granberg-Kiddle captured his first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and senior guard Rhys Knowlton added 10 points for the Storm.

Lummi Nation 65, Sehome 51

The inside-outside game of the Blackhawks proved to be too much for the Mariners as Lummi Nation pulled away in the third quarter to take the double-digit lead and never look back.
Junior guard Dyson Edwards led the Blackhawks with 19 points and senior center Chayce Waite-Kellar had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting.

Senior guard Jerome Toby and junior guard Landon LaFontaine each went 3-of-7 from beyond the three-point arc, as Toby had 13 points and seven assists and LaFontaine finished with 11 points and three steals.
Sehome junior guard Quincy Tanovan led his team with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, and senior forward Xavier Kelley had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Senior guards Nolan Wright and Klay Jackson added seven points each for the Mariners who were without starting center Cole Turrell.

It was all Bayhawks in their season opener as they dominated the Tomahawks in all four quarters.
Senior forward Joe Harward led the attack with 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting, which included a trio of two-handed slam dunks, along with four steals.
Barrett Johnson and Cyrus Campos each also enjoyed big nights as the two seniors got limited playing time on last year’s squad, and they each showed that they were ready for prime minutes this season.
Johnson finished with 17 points, on 8-of-11 shooting, nine rebounds and three assists, while Campos added 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Junior forward Silas McGerr came off the bench to lead Bellingham with four assists, and sophomore point guard Emmett VanHouten grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds in his varsity debut.

The Lyncs led 43-36 at the half, but they weren’t able to contain the 4A Vikings on the road as they rode a big third quarter to the victory.
Junior guard Dawson Hintz topped Lynden Christian in scoring with 29 points on 11-of-23 from the field, and junior guard Gunnar Dykstra was right on his heels with 25 points, which included 5-of-7 from downtown. Both players each finished with five assists.
Junior forward Kaden Veldman battled through a football injury to score 13 points, grab 15 rebounds, block six shots and dish out six assists.
The Lyncs also got a pair of three-pointers from sophomore guard Traden Ridnour.

The Mavericks led 60-45 going into the final quarter, and the Lions poured it on late but were unable to complete the comeback in their season opener at home.
Guard Spencer Adams had a big start to his senior season as he 5-of-10 three-pointers and finished with a team-high 26 points.
Sophomore guard Jayden Navarre had 12 points, and junior forward Lewis Whitney finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots.
Junior guard Gordy Bedlington added a team-high seven assists and two steals to go along with his seven points.
