Bellingham 78, Marysville-Getchell 53

The Bayhawks got back into the win column for the first time since their opening game, and did so in dominating fashion on the road.
Senior forward Joe Harward had a double-double with 19 points and 17 rebounds to power his team to victory, and sophomore guard Emmett VanHouten also enjoyed a big game with 19 points while hitting 5-of-10 from long range.
Junior guard Calvin VanHofwegen had 15 points to go along with his team-high seven assists and six steals, and senior Cyrus Campos added 12 points five rebounds and five assists.
Senior center Barrett Johnson was a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor with eight points and six boards.

The Lions were forced to deal with an early arm injury to star senior forward Spencer Adams, which meant other players needed to step up.
They sure did as senior forward James Ellis delivered with 14 points, and junior forward Lewis Whitney had nine points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.
Sophomore guard Jayden Navarre hit 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, and led Lynden in scoring with 21 points.
Junior guard Gordy Bedlington dished out four assists, and sophomore guard Markus Koenen ripped off four steals.

Lakewood 74, Squalicum 34

The Cougars clawed their way to an 18-2 lead after one quarter, and the Storm found it tough to recover after that.
Junior guard Blake Elston led Squalicum with 15 points, two assists and two steals, but much more was going to be needed to pick up the win against the reigning district champions on the road.
Senior forward Ansen Asbjornsen added six points and four rebounds, while Lincoln Shimkus, Rhys Knowlton and Harvey Tetrick each grabbed four rebounds as well for Squalicum who was playing without its starting center, Orion Granberg-Kiddle.
The Storm struggled at the foul line, making just 10 of their 25 attempts.
