Yrizarris

The only thing that prevented the Blackhawks from scoring in triple digits was the continuous clock in the second half. In fact, Lummi Nation was so dominant that senior center Chayce Waite-Kellar had four slam dunks in the game and was still the sixth leading scorer on the night.

Junior forward Deandre James had the honors with 18 points on an efficient 9-of-11 shooting. Junior guard Dyson Edwards had 16 points, four assists and three steals, while senior guard Isaiah Yrizarris came off the bench to add 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Junior guard Landon LaFontaine splashed home 12 points, and senior point guard Jerome Toby finished with 11 points and six assists.

Early turnovers caused by the pressure Seahawk defense allowed Anacortes to fly out to an 18-9 leader after one quarter.

The Bayhawks started to put it together in the second quarter, and played evenly with the Seahawks for the remainder of the game, but were unable to cut deep into the deficit.

Junior guard Calvin VanHofwegen kept Bellingham in the game with his deep shooting as he connected on 5-of-8 from downtown on his way to a team-high 17 points.

Senior center Barrett Johnson hit 6-of-9 shots from the floor and finished with 16 points and nine rebounds, while senior forward Joe Harward added 13 points and eight boards.
