Lynden Christian 70, Lummi Nation 60

In one of the most anticipated matchups of the year, the Lyncs turned it on in the fourth quarter to take the win over the inspired Blackhawks.
Early in the second quarter, Lummi Nation held a strong 19-11 lead, but multiple deep balls from junior guard Dawson Hintz quickly got Lynden Christian back into the contest.
The Blackhawks had one last possession in the first half, with under 10 seconds left until the midway break, and that was when Blackhawk senior guard Jerome Toby banked in a deep three-pointer to tie the game at 32-32 at halftime.
Instead of large runs back in forth like the first half, the third quarter remained close, and the game went into the final period still tied at 46-46.

Lummi Nation took the lead early in the fourth quarter, but the Lyncs went on a 22-8 run over the final 5:40, which was highlighted by a Hintz steal and dunk, to secure the victory.
Hintz led all players with 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting. Junior forward Kaden Veldman added 15 points, while he and Hintz each grabbed eight rebounds.
Junior guard Gunnar Dykstra scored 14 points, and junior guard Harvest Howell dished out six assists.
The Blackhawks were led by the 18 points and six assists of Toby.
Junior guard Landon LaFontaine scored 12 points, and senior center Chayce Waite-Kellar finished with 11 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.

After a relatively close first half, that ended with the Mariners up 20-16, Sehome went on a fast 8-0 run to begin the third quarter.
The Mariners led 43-32 going into the fourth quarter, but a three-pointer from Borderite senior Kai Kerwin made it a 44-38 lead for Sehome with 4:40 left in the game.
Kerwin then found junior guard Dawson Dohner cutting to the basket 40 seconds later to cut the Sehome lead to just four points, but the Mariners got hot in the final three minutes and went on a 14-2 run to finish the game.

A big part of the final run was Sehome senior forward Xavier Kelley who finished with 29 points, 11 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks. He also made 12 of his 20 field goal attempts, and 4-of-6 from the three-point line.
Senior forward Cole Turrell muscled his way in the middle to 10 points and six boards.
Dohner made 5-of-7 from the floor for 12 points, and senior forward Landon Melton matched his teammate with 12 points while junior center Gus Dickson added eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
