Melton

When Borderite senior Landon Melton picked up two early fouls, it looked like it would hinder Blaine’s 6-man rotation. However, the Borderites stayed the course, and Melton led a third-quarter surge that saw Blaine overtake the Bayhawks on the scoreboard and never looked back.

The 6-5 guard finished with a game-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting, while also pulling down eight rebounds.

VanHouten

Junior center Gus Dickson had 13 points and six boards, while senior guard Daniel Banks added 12 points and senior guard Kai Kerwin handed out seven assists.

Bellingham was led by sophomore guard Emmett VanHouten who finished with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Senior forward Joe Harward and junior guard Calvin VanHofwegen each poured in 14 points.
