The season for the Pioneers came to an abrupt end last night on the road as they fell to the Falcons in the 1A Bi-District play-in game. After a scoreless first inning, the Falcons scored all eight of their runs over the following four innings. A two-out single by Connor Hopkins scored Landen Stauffer in the seventh inning, and that ended up as the lone run for Nooksack Valley. Singles were also hit by Evan Brown, Trevek McMillen and Stauffer. The Pioneers finished with a record of 6-15.
