The Wildcats struck first, scoring the game’s first run in the top of the third. However, the Lions quickly matched that when Dylan Reyes bunted in a run. Spencer Adams followed that up by knocking in two runs and landing himself on second base. Oak Harbor responded by collecting three runs in the next inning, but once again, Lynden answered back. Matthew Carroll sent one run home, and Reyes collected his second RBI of the game before Gordy Bedlington hit an RBI double into right field. Jaydin Oaks and Dane Marti also got hits for the Lions while Gavin Guttormson struck out nine Wildcats.

A 2-run single by Elijah Wenger in the bottom of the fourth gave the Borderites a 2-1 lead. It was followed up when Jaden Johanesson scored on an error. The Tigers tied the game up at 3-3 in the following inning, but Blaine was able to load the bases in the bottom of the sixth. A bases-loaded walk by Landon Brown gave the Borderites a 4-3 lead, and two wild pitches allowed two more runs to come around and score. Ashton Vezzetti struck out nine batters, while Connor Brown picked up the win in relief. Aaron Garza struck out the final two batters of the game to pick up the save.

Mariner junior Hudson Neff did a little bit of everything as he went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and a stolen base, and he also pitched the complete game shutout as Sehome captured the win on the road. Neff allowed just five hits and he struck out four batters without walking anyone. Gunnar Anderson was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in, while junior Tyson Goodman also continued hit hot hitting by driving in two runs.

The Pioneers kept the basepaths busy all game as they collected 14 hits and walked six times in the shortened five-inning game at home against the Storm. Junior catcher Matthew Blake had two singles, two doubles three runs batted in and three runs scored to lead the Nooksack Valley offense. The Pioneers also got a pair of hits from Evan Brown, Landen Stauffer and Dylan Reimer, while Brown and Tyler Martin each scored three runs. Crew Bauman struck out four batters and picked up his first win of the season. Tanner Berg singled and doubled for Squalicum.

The Trojans scored in every inning as they defeated the Mountaineers on the road. Sophomore pitcher Trey Alexander needed just 67 pitches to get through the five-inning contest as he picked up his second win of the season. He also helped his own cause by doubling twice, walking twice and scoring four runs. Meridian also got a pair of hits from Nate Payne and Trevyn Crabtree, while Payne drove in three runs and Tristan Wang scored three runs. The Mountaineers got hits from Gavin Sternhagen, Zyan Paglia, Caden Mosher, Tyson Barksdale and Dylan Moa.

The Golden Eagles held a 2-0 lead after three innings when a fielder’s choice scored Fredy Caetano and Brayden Ebbesen. The Bulldogs went on to score six runs over the next three innings before Ferndale scored its final run of the game in the seventh. Ebbesen finished the game 2-for-3 for the Golden Eagles and Braylon O’Breen drove in two runs. Bryce Manibusan started on the mound for Ferndale and didn’t allow a run while striking out two.

Bayhawk junior Joe Harward laced a single into right field which scored Eric Helfield and Ryan Neem in the bottom of the fourth inning, but that would be the lone offensive highlight as the Seahawks flew past Bellingham. Harward finished with a pair of hits, and Kai Nelson scored the first run of the game for the Bayhawks.
